Strong network for the energy industry

Whether mobility, housing or the world of work: energy is indispensable. Energy secures our basic needs and is a prerequisite for a functioning economy. Moreover, the shift away from fossil fuels to a supply of sustainably generated energy is one of the most important challenges of our time.

At the same time, energy technology is a major economic factor: In Germany, around 54,400 employees in the energy technology sector generated sales of around 11.2 billion euros in 2020.

Increase power in a network!

The Bavarian Energy Technology Cluster intensifies cooperation between companies and science in order to drive new technological developments and solve the challenges facing the energy sector. Participation in the cluster activities opens up excellent opportunities for stakeholders to network regionally, nationally and internationally, exchange cross-industry experiences and launch joint projects.

Offer

The Cluster Energy Technology regularly organizes goal-oriented platforms for technology and knowledge transfer. Congresses, forums and cluster meetings provide information on new trends and developments in technologies, in business and science, and in the political environment. In addition, the cluster actively collaborates in national and international projects, moderates working groups, coordinates joint projects with partners from industry and science, and prepares expert studies on current energy topics.

Thanks to its close cooperation with Bayern Innovativ GmbH and other networks and clusters, the energy technology cluster has access to all relevant industries. This allows its players and partners to network even better; for example, to present their results and projects at trade fairs, trade exhibitions and congresses.
