Novo will continue to strengthen the links between Europe’s more than 900 clusters and promote their presence and essential role in the European innovation ecosystem.

The election took place at ECA’s General Assembly on October 4, 2023. The new term of the presidency is four years.

Two women were elected to the Board: new Vice President Kristina Sermuksnyte-Alesiuniene – European Cluster Manager of the Year 2022 – and Montse Daban, who will represent ECA in the Friends of the EEN group. This is to strengthen the relationship between ECA and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).

Hervé Floch (AFPC, France) was re-elected as Vice President, Daniel Cosnita (CLUSTERO, Romania) as Secretary. Both have been instrumental in the development of ECA since its inception.

Krzysztof Krystowski from the Polish Cluster Association stepped down as Vice President after several years of commitment.
