Rise to the top with TechnologyMountains!

The organization’s name stands for the technological strength of regional companies and emphasises the innovative capacity of southwest Germany. Aim of the technology initiative is to systematically foster synergies, link competencies and boost innovations. With its cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary approach TechnologyMountains aims at obtaining competitive advantages on time for its members from all branches - from automotive to machining.

Traversing traditional branch boundaries the association offers its members access to technical know-how. TechnologyMountains creates links between economy and science, and initiates projects enhancing development and cooperation amongst its members. Companies benefit from an information advantage facilitated via the exchange of knowledge and experience in a branch-oriented and interdisciplinary dialog.

Advanced training opportunities and support with the search for qualified personnel complement the network’s broad range of services. TechnologyMountains also promotes the positioning of its stakeholders, e. g. by participating in international trade fairs and initializing a purchasing pool. The initiative acts as voice of its member companies and represents their interests against politics, associations, and the public.

As a central contact in terms of technology and innovation, TechnologyMountains could already convince more than 440 companies to join their network.

TechnologyMountains is a member of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action "go-cluster" programme, was awarded the Gold-Label of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative, the Baden-Wuerttemberg Ministry for Finance and Economy quality label Cluster-Exzellenz.
