foodactive is THE foodnetwork of Hamburg and the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. Around 150 companies in the food industry have joined forces here.

It is our goal to improve the conditions for our companies to grow and perceive the industry. To this end, foodactive establishes connections within the food industry in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region and connects them with universities, research institutions, experts, actors along the value chain, politics, administration and the international community. As experts and networkers in the food industry, we are always on the lookout for new trends and innovations.

We act as a central and professional point of contact, initiator and information broker and deal with current topics and questions relating to food production. With passion and commitment, we drive processes forward and ensure a strong food industry in the region. The focus is on our network, specialist topics, linking business and science as well as innovation.
