The BioLAGO e. V., which is domiciled in Constance, is a network for life sciences and biotechnology in the international Lake Constance region. The cross-border network links business and science to innovation; it promotes the transfer of knowledge and the creation of new companies. As one of five accredited bioregions in Baden-Württemberg, BioLAGO unites over 90 companies and research facilities and thus around 8,500 jobs in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein. Over the last few years, BioLAGO companies have created 1,500 new jobs in the area of the Lake Constance, making an important contribution to economic development.

The members core competences are pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, biotechnology, medical engineering, nutrition, environmental protection, analytics, medicine- and bioinformatics.
