German Ecodesign Award: Highest state award for ecological design in Germany
The German Ecodesign Award honours designers, companies and students from Germany and Europe whose work make an important contribution to the sustainable transformation of our economy and society. A central goal of Ecodesign is to design products, services and systems in such a way that their negative impact on the environment is minimised in all phases of life.
The previous winners of the German Ecodesign Award demonstrate a range of ideas that are helping to shape the shift towards a sustainable society: from sustainable consumer goods to thoughtful rental systems, repair services and technical innovations in the areas of housing and mobility.
Registration is possible until 15 April 2024.
The award has been granted annually since 2012 by the Federal Ministry for the Environment and the German Environment Agency in cooperation with the International Design Center Berlin.
