Europe’s heart of aerospace and navigation

Bavaria is one of the few international locations that represent almost the entire aviation and aerospace value chain. Some 38,000 employees generate a turnover of about 11 billion euro. This makes Bavaria one of the top five aerospace locations worldwide.

bavAIRia’s objective is to foster cooperation between industry, SMEs, universities, research institutes and politics. Through networking, location marketing, consultancy and other services, bavAIRia makes the aerospace cluster more competitive and visible on the global stage. Moreover its strong commitment traverses national borders and enables international business and cluster co-operations. By accompanying and carrying out national and international projects the cluster is involved with the development of innovative systems, components, applications and services.
